Is my neck getting red?

I guess growing up in Newport NY and attending WCV has rubbed off on me. Growing up I used to detest the pep rally chants of Chevy, no Ford, no Chevy, no Ford. I gave two shits what a person drove: Chevy, Ford or Dodge. I do have found memories of Jessy Murphy's truck. We thought we could go anywhere b/c we were driving in a 4X4 truck. Of course Jess would go down Fairfield hill in neutral to save money. She never made it from her hill to my house in neutral. The farthest she made was the fishing rock unless we hit the only red light in Middleville. I always been drawn to the functionality of a truck. The freedom to haul whatever you like whenever you like: a treasure from Sal's boutique, mulch, dirt, or my bike; endless possibilities. So when my first and only brand new car needed to be traded in b/c the cost of the repairs was worth more than it the cost of the car we decided a truck would be a good option for the Pushlar Family. Luckily, the local auto repair shop, Whytes, was selling a very used GMC 4X4 Sierra with a second row of seats and 8ft bed. All our criteria was matched including a price we could pay in cash. So Drew donned his best pair of jeans, SU hat and shirt w/o a stain and proudly paid for our first truck in cash. Our popularity in Freeville/Dryden has quadrupled. We have the local bus mechanic coming up to us at the local pancake breakfast at the fire hall having a friendly chat. Drew gets looks of approval at Sure Fine because he has a 8ft bed compared to the schmucks with the 4ft bed. Because of our environmentally friendly consciousness, we are only using the truck for trips to the Home Depot, camping and if needed by Drew to transport Sophia to Montessori school. We plan to only fill up the 26 gallon tank once a month. We are now the unlucky saps who have 80$ gas bill.  (this is the not the photo of our truck.   it just looks like this)
